How to play

Writing a question on a blue card

1Ask a question

A wheel picks the questioner, who writes any question. Stuck? Tap Idea or see our question ideas.

Typing an answer on a green card

2Everyone answers in secret

Write the funniest reply you can. No names attached.

An answer card coming out of the pile

3Reveal the answers

The questioner reads each card out loud. Hit the soundboard when one lands.

Picking the funniest answer

4Vote for the funniest

Tap the best answer and lock in your vote.

5Guess who said it

The questioner picks who wrote the winning answer. Right? They steal its points.

6Go for the rest?

Feeling brave, name the writers of the other top answers too. All right: take their points. One wrong: lose everything you stole.

Scoring

  • Top three answers score 10 points per vote.
  • Questioner names the winner’s writer: they steal those points.
  • Votes for your own answer never count.
  • Everyone asks once. Highest score wins, then the awards show (Worst Comedian included).

Quick example

Nour asks “What’s something you’ve never told this group?” Maria writes “I’ve used Tony’s Netflix for three years. My profile is called Settings.” It gets 2 votes (20 points). Nour guesses Maria, right, and steals the 20.

Tips

  • Write in someone else’s style to fool the questioner.
  • Small, specific details get the most votes.
  • Only go for the rest when you’re sure.
